We have great news for all who appreciate a good camera. Kodak decided to revive their legendary Super 8 camera, incorporating the best features from both the digital and analogue world.



The Super 8 was first produced in the 60s and had a huge impact on filmmakers all around the world. Now, after so many years, the news of it launching again caused a big reaction in the Hollywood. Some of the most popular filmmakers today, like Christopher Nolan, JJ Abrams, Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino supported this initiative.

The New Kodak Super 8 uses 8mm film and can be connected to other devices as well.

Kodak worked with many experts to develop the new Super 8. It ended up having a lot of improved features, from little things, like the leather handle, to huge improvements, like the digital Viewfinder. Probably the biggest difference is in the integrated microphone. As for the looks, it comes in black and bone china.

The new Kodak Super 8 has a few digital improvements like the Viewfinder and connectivity options on the back of the camera.

The new Kodak Super 8 uses the same film the old one did, but allows you to connect to all sorts of other devices. The battery is integrated and uses the standard USB adapter for charging. On the back of the camera, you’ll find many connectivity options, so you can easily transfer the data and share it.

Kodak is aware of the fact that digital cameras just can’t capture the same charm as this one can. This is why they made the entire process of developing the film quite simple for conditions we have today. All you have to do when you finish shooting is send the films to Kodak and they’ll develop them and send them back to you. You’ll also receive a password to download digital scans.
